TOPICS: 2 speakers telling us about Hong Kong companies for China business and cases about doing business in China

 

"Hong Kong as a company platform to run China business", Mr. Wallace Ko from Wallace Ko & Co., a C.P.A. firm

based in Hong Kong shall explain in detail the following items:

- establishing a company in Hong Kong; related fees, ownership requirements (HK ID or not), opening of bank accounts

- services for a HK company (secretarial services, accounting services)

- taxation, dividends (different combinations; i.e. revenues earned outside HK etc.)

 

Michael Jin, partner at Jin & Partners, a law firm based in Shenzhen, will give us an insight into the following:

- case introduction - Receivable collection via PRC court for a Finnish company

- IPR intellectual property right protection in China

- FDI - merger & acquisition

-  introduction of Mr. Jin's company and legal services
